Our lessons are tailor-made to the student. They focus on what the student is struggling with so that they can build the skills they need to feel more confident in their studies. I have just graduated from Cardiff University with a first in law and so I am accustomed to writing essays and exam conditions. I undertook English Literature and Language for my GCSEs and A-Levels under the WJEC syllabus and as I only sat these exams 3 years ago, I understand what the examiner is looking for and can provide your child with how to cope with exam stress. Though I am most familiar with the WJEC specification, I am more than happy to go through other specifications to up to the level of GCSE.

For younger students, there are so many options! Lessons can focus on general literacy skills, on a specific skill students want to build more confidence with, a book they are looking at in class, books outside of class, how to generally analyse a book and write about it, spelling or even creative writing. We can also work together on homework tasks set in class.
