About Molly

I am an experienced Spanish tutor studying Modern Languages at the University of Cambridge.

I have an excellent record of academic success: 10 GCSEs at Grade 9 (incl. Spanish); 3 A*s in A Level Spanish, History and Politics. I achieved a First Class with distinction in my second year at Cambridge, ranking 2nd out of 134 students.

I have learned from the very best language teachers at Cambridge: in my first year at university, I started Portuguese from scratch and reached an intermediate level in just 8 months.

I have tutored in the past with exceptional results: my students are more confident with Spanish, they can express themselves well, and above all they finally enjoy speaking the language!

About the lesson

Most students cannot speak Spanish despite years of learning in school because languages are taught in a passive way - the teacher tells you a grammar rule and you memorise it. We all learned our native language by using it! For this reason, my lessons are interactive and, rather than focusing on rote memorisation, conjugation and grammar rules will be acquired naturally and stress-free!

While correcting your mistakes and teaching you the language, my goal is also for you to become an independent language learner. I will share my years of experience in this field and recommend tips and tricks to help you improve.
