Methodology
My teaching method is very flexible and it depends on the student. As a student myself, I understand that everyone learns in different ways and pace, and different teaching techniques will be more or less appropriate for each individual. That is why I am very flexible with the materials, and teaching techniques I use. The teaching technique will depend on the specific Spanish language aspect that the student would like to focus (speaking, reading, writing) in all different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). And the technique can change depending on the dynamic of the classes and progress.
Background
I am a UBC student currently majoring in Psychology and minoring in Adult Education. I am half Korean, half Mexican, born and raised in Mexico City. I love to share knowledge and help others achieve their goals. I have been tutoring since I was in high school being involved in some volunteer opportunities and tutoring English over the summer back in Mexico. I would like to continue doing what I like to do and help others learn a new language and make the process enjoyable.

Nicole has been my teacher for a period of time, while I was struggling in spanish. She has helped me through my spanish homework and has had a lot of patience with me when I did not get how the grammar worked. I really recommend her as your teacher because she prepares everything you will ever need to be good at spanish and will help you out a lot.

I recommend Nicole as a teacher because she was very patience, organized with my classes, and her teaching was excellent. I could understand everything she explained and helped me out on my spanish homework. When she was teaching I could see she was enthusiastic, ready in every class she gave and always tried her best for me to understand. Overall I recommend her a lot if you are struggling in spanish as I was.
