I start a topic with examples that are the most familiar to our daily life experience. I then gradually build up structures and formal pictures of each topic. Later when you learn the idea, again multiple examples are talked about and test problems are solved. It is fun to start learning about trigonometry with its relation to how rainbows are made and seen by our eyes.
I have a PhD in physics from the University of Waterloo and have taught math and physics courses at the University of Waterloo and York University, as well as private high school math and science courses. Teaching is an absolute joy for me and I would love to share my passion for math and sciences with high school students, our future world leaders.
