Especially for younger children, staying focused on something that is difficult can be very tricky. I strive to teach multiple strategies in various subjects to help your child find his/her best learning style that helps them succeed to the best of their ability.
My teaching methods are based on multiple philosophies, some of which include: Reggio, Montessori, & Orton Gillingham. I believe in individualized learning because everyone learns in a different way. I like to personalize each student to their style of learning and what works best for them.
I like to teach base on 2 main parts theory and business cases. In this way the students can apply the theory to the real life scenarios and open a dialogue about all the possible options and get together, collaborating, the correct solution to the daily challenges.
My tutoring sessions include a well-planned approach where students will enjoy improving their confidence, knowledge and attitude to learning. I measure a successful session together if the student has felt respect, freedom, the importance of goal-setting and an appreciation for the knowledge gained.
I generally prepare a short lecture of the topic (5min), then exercises to do together I am very patient and I will explain a topic in a variety of ways.. The end of the lesson is when the student must practice without my help - and prove that they understand the topic. Anyone that wants to learn grammar, or school science subjects is welcome to contact me.
Enjoyable learning is a huge part of my teaching philosophy! I meet students where they are, hoping to make learning fun while still grasping learning outcomes. Foundational mastery is also part of my methodology. I like to master the foundations of subject material first in order to develop faster processing in advanced material later on.
I like to break problems down into smaller parts that are easier to handle, then ask the right questions, and provide examples, in order to help others better understand and then solve problems and find answers. It is all about helping individuals to truly learn, feel and know that they are capable, and become self-reliant as well.
My teaching styles/techniques is very simple. I usually make some creative and interactive instructional materials depending on my lesson. Sometimes I also do my own simple test about the lesson just to evaluate if my students really understand and learn what I am implicating on the lesson.
I base my sessions on in class topics being taught. I like to get my students interactive and exposed to the material as much as possible in order to get the most effective results. I do this by ensuring my clients understand the theoretical concepts to be able to apply them to knowledge and problem solving questions.
My teaching methods vary for each student. I personalize my teaching methods to create lessons that enhance the students learning. When I meet with the student for the first time and we go over the material, I will be able to get a sense of how they learn (kinetically, auditory, etc). From there I am then able to create a plan that will help them learn the best way they can.
As a student in the bachelor of education program, I have experience teaching classes at the elementary school level. My best teaching technique would be to learn together and be interactive with my students.
I prefer to take each student's needs into consideration before planning my session so that we can focus on the aspects that need the most attention, although a typical class will consist of reviewing the previous session's accomplishments, exercises pertaining to the task at hand, and goal setting.
My classes begin with asking the student about his/ her struggles with the subject. I often, when available, go over a failed exam or any other example of classwork with the person, reviewing point by point and highlighting potential issues. This last exercise gives me an idea of the issues faced by the student.
My teaching methodology is working individually and in groups teaching languages. Types of learners are different. They include adult and young learners in different fields. I teach practically and my students think that my lessons are very interesting for them.
My teaching methods for young kids are mostly in practical way where I actually explain in detail about particular subject till gets it right.i sometimes make it learning really fun too. Understanding is the main key to where kids really knows about what they putting in paper.
My methodologies vary significant, as I believe there is a very specific way to work with each individual. More generally, I meet with the student for the first time (usually over coffee) and we plan together a study schedule. First, I ask the student about his/her background, what are his/her goals and the time frame we have to work on.
My teaching method is mostly conversational and storytelling based. This brings fun into the classroom while helping students to put their language skills into everyday practice. I have found that providing examples through storytelling helps to link words to real life situations. This assists in the functions of their daily lives both in and outside of the classroom.
1. I assess your knowledge level by watching your knowledge level by watching you solve a few problems 2. Then I identify the key areas where you need Improvement 3. Then I help you understand how to make those improvements by teaching you effectively and efficiently. 4.
I would like to teach the student in their own learning capacity. I would recommend the use of complementary methods rather than one method. LECTURE METHOD. A lecture is an oral presentation of information by the instructor. THE DISCUSSION METHOD. Discussion involves two-way communication between participants, videos, texts, etc.
I primarily base my classes around your child's educational needs and use the current ontario curriculum to support and guide this learning. I also have many resources available to me being in York Universities concurrent education program. I am currently looking to work with students from kindergarten to grade 6 as my degree is specialized in the primary/junior division.
My teaching methods involves explaining the complex topics in an easy, ordered and coherent manner. I have been told that I often explain concepts in-depth with relevant examples. Once given the topics, I prepare visual-aid materials for the lessons as well.
I work one-on-one. I am flexible depending on what the student is interested in obtaining help with and what their interests are. Can help with homework and work towards increasing grades and comprehension of subjects.
Our team's' values include developing growth mindsets, establishing strong study habits, and fostering in-depth comprehension of subject material.
My teaching meathods are flexible since this is my first teaching position. I gained the confidence to start teaching through my courses and peoples positive attitudes in my past work positions I am really good with people one on one and can do groups of people too.
My teaching methods are based on the child's unique learning style. I'm able to teach in all different styles. I like to incorporate both written styles and videos into my classes. I naturally work with children who are either kinesthetic, visual or auditory learners.
My teaching methods are based on the child's individual needs. I understand that each individual has differing learning styles and I strive to met their individual styles. For instance, I tutored a child whose is a visual learner by the usage of charts and mind-maps. I ensure that the child feels comfortable and driven to learn.
My methods of teaching vary with my student's way of learning. I translate each subject in ways my student can understand by simplifying things and slowly building on the complexity as he/she gains understanding. Together we'll make sure that the homework are completed and most importantly understood, we'll focus on his/her strengths and build on their confidence when it comes to weaker spots.
Essay writing can be one of the most challenging (and most important!) things to learn when transitioning from high school to university/college, and I'm here to help! It may seem scary, but there are ways to approach this subject so that it isn't quite so overwhelming. My goal when tutoring is to create a truly comfortable environment for you to learn and grow.
