I believe that every student is different needs to be taught in a different method so nothing can be said in common. There are so many ways to account for negative outcomes that it is safer to doubt one’s methods before doubting one’s subjects.
I have no set methodology, but can adapt to what the student is learning in school. I am here to help with homework or existing materials the student is working on. I am happy to create lesson plans based on an existing focus area.
I am a huge believer of the Feymann technique, where I will ask the student to teach/explain the concept to me in their own ways.
I adjust my teaching strategies to meet the need(s) of the student(s) as I am very open to trying new methods to determine what suits the student(s) best. Everyone learns differently and everyone has a way of learning that works best for them. I strongly encourage independent and group learning as they both contribute to the overall achievement and communication skills of the student(s).
I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with many great students in my career as a teaching assistant. I have my certificate for my work as an education assistant. When I first meet with a student, I like to talk to them and gain insight on how they view the course material. I will then approach what they know and build on that.
I believe student development is based on the whole child. Engaging and interactive learning is my goal when planning for student learning. Graduated recently with combined bachelor of education and art, majoring in social studies and history, with a physical education minor. I have experience teaching junior high social studies and grade three. My hope is to foster a love for learning.
Prior to beginning tutoring, I will do an assessment to find out the student's strengths and weaknesses. The program will be designed specifically for the elementary student I am tutoring in reading, math or written language. Learning should be fun and I will incorporate games and fun activities to develop needed skills.
The method I use to teach vary depending on the help needed. I use Skype, Hangouts, Phone call, IM, or Email. I highly recommend that I see my students through video call in order to ensure they understand and are focused. I prefer online tutor session over face to face session.
I am 3rd year student in Laurentian University. I am enrolled in BBA and hopefully, I will be graduating next year. I have previously tutored student privately for various subjects. I base my lessons according to the student's needs. If there is a specific curriculum in their school imposes, then I create my lesson plan around it. Additionally, as a tutor, I do not just teach the content, but I also teach self-discipline and studying habits. This way, the student does learn to not rely on any external force to succeed in their endeavors.
My teaching methods involve the following in the specific order: 1. clients are to have read the appropriate material prior to the session. 2.Theory will be reviewed with tutor and client. 3. I have been teaching for 6 years now, with that span of time I was able to experience a lot in terms of teaching young learners how to properly learn their lessons. I have encountered a lot of difficulties as well in the teaching and learning process but I was able to cope up with these problems.
My teaching method is based on simplifying and breaking down complicated questions into small pieces so students can easily understand it. In addition, giving students examples to perform by themselves to make sure of complete understanding and make them feel confident.
My teaching methods are normally explaining the concept, letting the person try an example and the checking in to see if more coaching is needed. I work alongside them, working on the same example and try to slow myself down to see if I'm skipping over instructions. Personally, I learn by seeing and doing. I also know a lot of people learn lots of different ways and I have had to adapt in the past.
MY main way of teaching is through following proper structure of code so that every thing became simple to understand i generally break bigger problems in small one and start solving them through which every step become simple to understand
My teaching method is to primarily clear the basics and then build on the knowledge the student acquires from in-class work. Based on the amount of practise needed, homework is assigned on a regular basis and doubts are cleared throughout each tutoring session.
Interests driven, application focused, and test skills cultivated; 5-hour crash summary to get a B and above; weekly 2-hour explanation for a thorough understanding and A+.
My teaching methods are mainly based on what kind of learner the student is for instance, if he/she is a visual learner, there will be more videos and flashcards made by me! Also, I would prepare a lesson before coming to class so it is managed coherently.
I prepare question previous to the session. Teach the concept behind the method first then address the problem. I will help students to think of the problem at first and then solve it this helps them to learn from their mistakes and achieve a higher level of understanding.
My teaching methods vary by subject and unique student needs. Often, I begin lessons by reviewing core concepts using unique examples and memorable stories. After answering any questions the student may have I move on to practice questions and give my students the necessary academic tools and thinking skills to achieve their unique goals.
I like making sure that my student is super comfortable. I like working on my relationship with my student first so that they aren't afraid to ask me anything. Once we build that common ground then I understand what kind of learner you are and I work from there, and use useful techniques that would help you as well as some techniques that have worked for me in the present/past.
I am able to tutor students from elementary to high school levels, possibly some CEGEP, in any science classes or subjects including physics and chemistry and with a specialty on biology and anatomy as well as math classes up to calculus.
I can work with students based on their individual needs by assisting with homework, assignments, projects or preparing for a test. I can create individual practice for each student to better help them learn a new skill or concept. I also, strive to help students that want to excel and learn a higher grade curriculum.
I believe the best way for a student to learn is to practice. If the subject requires learning material by heart, I first make sure the student understands everything and then I make them teach it back to me or write it out. If the subject requires doing problems, I have them start by trying the exercises alone. Then we go over the method to use and correct one or two.
My method of teaching depends on correcting recitation and interest in practical and theoretical tajweed with memorization and revision what I explain every class. Classes will be in zoom program it’s good and easy to use.
My teaching methods are to provide the students with a lesson that incorporates their prior knowledge, and I connect that to the content we will be learning.
I approach each student individually, assess the problem and then choose the most appropriate method to help them achieve the desired outcome. The vast majority of students I help just have problems finding and applying structure to their work, so that is usually my main area of interest, followed closely by research methods and writing skills.
