My 15+ years academic experience as a student, a researcher, and a professor has taught me that learning is a process of constant evolution. My role as a teacher is to guide students whenever they encounter a difficulty, and to facilitate a smooth transition to new learning.
My approach to teaching is to be flexible and engaging when working with students individually. I use the communicative method and like to ensure that the needs of my students are met and that they take away useful and practical language skills. I have a wealth of inspiring and goal oriented material and I am resourceful, goal-oriented and enthusiastic in meeting the needs of my students.
I teach high school math and physics. My method is to teach these subjects as a philosophy. I don't just tell them how to do a certain problem. I teach them to think why they have to do it that certain way. I try to make students think for themselves so that they can become more independent.
My tutoring work is based in Linda Albert's words: "Children may not always remember what we teach them, but they will never forget how we treat them." I help students to improve their math and English scores and to feel success in their academic pursuits.
I work with the whole student to support specific challenge areas and scaffold new skills appropriate to each unique situation. My students get better marks and my resume clients get hired. I am a professionally certified teacher with undergraduate degrees in math and English, and post-graduate credential in counselling psychology.
I've been training teams for years, making people more diligent with their tasks, saving time and orienting them to the results. My value proposition is basically the transference of my knowledge and experience in different sectors of business to my students.
I encourage students to explain what they understood, and try to understand myself at what point they are facing difficulty. Then I will try to explain it in detail. It builds up a discussion and by discussion people learn things.
A travers la démarche de résolution d'exercices j'amène l'élève a assimiler les concepts du cours.
I always choose fun and easy going teaching methods, because those are the ones people remember. I creative a fun and exciting environment so my students are excited to learn - which is very important.
I teach based on the TEFL method, I like to create fun and entertaining lessons. I like to use lessons that are designed around current events and songs to make things more interesting.
I always find joy in teaching,so I want my students to find the joy of knowing something new. I like to teach school and high school level students but I am comfortable with college level students too. As an international engineering student, my base of math, physics and chemistry is really strong. So I give priority on clearing the concept.
My teaching method varies with each student. I base my classes on my students' interests. I approach a subject with structure and flexibility. My philosophy in teaching is "let's keep it fun", learning should be molded to each individual. My homework is always fun and rewarding.
Ironically I try to be as "unacademic" as possible, i.e., I try to imbue my lessons with actionable takeaways so learners can immediately apply their newly gained knowledge to their work. A typical lesson could focus on the learner's own writing or the learner could choose to bring in something they adore (or abhor) and we will work together on analyzing the writings.
I believe in practice in education, particularly in learning a language. Without practice, learning becomes a frustration to the learner and the teacher. I believe the interaction between the learner and the teacher is an opportunity to enhance the learner's experience. The teacher role is to aid the student in the process.
I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
What a typical class looks like depends on the student. For those who are more comfortable with coding, we can either work on unique projects to practice your skills (coding a simple website, customizing a Wordpress site, etc), or I can aid you with your own projects/homework/assignments.
My methodology changes in each situation. After years if study and winning more than 3 scholarships and earning top degrees in the world, I have learnt, there's no right strategy. I make concepts easy by breaking them up and seeing how concepts are made in the first place! I have never memorized a concept or a formula. I always derive my formulas in exam because I understand the depths of it.
I teach and mentor because I love the process and interactions with next generation leaders. To me, it is a real pleasure to teach, learn and exchange ideas,. As a tutor, my personal objectives are: - Help you apply theory and experience to achieve faster and more effective learning. - Help you enjoy the learning process and course experience.
I use the communicative approach in the classroom, which is based on the idea that learning a language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language.
I am doing PhD at Univ of Alberta in department of mechanical engineering. I have some experience in giving maths tuitions as I have done this job early. I give assignments regularly with focus on understanding which is required in a subject like maths.
My classes are based on student comfort and would help him out with the topics. student have to inform me about the topic a couple of days earlier.
I give a clear understanding of the topic based on numerous examples. It includes all the test cases so that a student can do his/her best when he/she confronts a difficult problem. I try to implement the things by showing diagrams, making artificial structures so that a problem can be visualised too.
Math and Physics are my passion, so I want my students to left aside any fear for numbers and find the joy of knowing something new. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and I always put myself in my student’s shoes, so I able to see their point of view and find the best way for each one to learn. As an international engineering student, my base of math and physics very strong.

I'm here to help you with any and all challenges you are facing academically, but also to identify areas of improvement you may not be aware of. While my sessions would be geared towards individuals looking for assistance with post-secondary biochemistry and writing work, I am more than capable of providing assistance with high school mathematics and chemistry topics.
My teaching methods are: The fastest and best way to learn or improve a foreign language is practicing. It does mean, speaking and repeating, and repeating again.
My teaching method is based on material that suggests creativity and activities in the approach, following some theory/flexibility for what's to learn. I love to make my students feel confident and comfortable while they are learning. I make sure they feel free to ask for more explanations at every moments.
My teaching methods is in a friendly way, I believe a natural and relax way is the best way to go, learn another language can be stressful if you teach it in a rigid way, every time you see people would love to learn different language starts to become a huge stress because the methods is used just follow a procedure and does not become a natural way
I prefer teaching with chalk-board rather than a power point. It is because I like to draw, move around the class and explain with flow charts etc. I believe it gives me more freedom in communicating the knowledge to the receiver. I usually have hand-written notes of myself, so I can explain the concept in step-wise manner.
