I like to discuss about the topic in depth that is required for specific student. I like to let the student think at first about a topic, and then discuss that in details. Interactive discussion is the key in my class.
It is extremely important to help students reach their full potential. Having worked as a university residence advisor and a life coach, I find many times that academic studies are mired due to a lack of self confidence. I pride in being able to raise the student’s confidence level and get him or her to a stable and secure academic place where to be confident and succeed on their own.
I approach a subject with flexibility. We would work together to see what needs work, and build our plan from there. I would like to see how you think in order to best understand how to explain to you. My classes would be meant for high school students, either in grade 9 and 10 science, or upper year chemistry classes, as well as first year university students.

I have a workbook with summaries + exercises. I use power-points for each unit and usually do problems on the board. I also like to integrate videos in the powerpoints. I have found that integrating short films and videos in my lectures to demonstrate three dimensional concepts has worked really well to teach abstract chemistry concepts.
