My teaching methods are relating the material you learn in classes with things you may experience in the everyday world. I find it difficult for kids to learn subjects they can't relate to. Here's an example: Ionic compounds happen when a non-metal takes a metal's electron to become stable while molecular/covalent compounds happen when two or more non-metals share their electrons.
I aim to help elementary to high school students by discussing simplified and direct methods of solving science problems as well as giving student level explanations about scientific theories. I plan to teach using methods such as allowing the student to guide their own learning.
Some of my interests in my career as a teacher are to reveal to my students the beauty of Math, Physics, and Chemistry, and to encourage them to discover the many bridges, and logical connections between these subjects.
In teaching Chemistry, I try to refer to real life examples that are common which makes them relatable and easier to understand for students. For the subject of atom's structure, I usually use drawings or even models to visualize an unseen concept. In Chemistry, I'm specialized in structure of atom, chemical bonds, organic chemistry, solutions and stoichiometry.
- Preparing PowerPoint slides due to the related subject to be taught - Explaining the concepts with regards to practical and understandable examples - Preparing the suitable exercises from the simplest ones to more complex and challenging ones - Preparing and sending the related exercises on-line for the students - Receiving the answers from students and correction and verifying on-line or in...
My teaching methods are helping students formulate hypotheses and focus all ideas before attempting to answer the question. I also like to breakdown questions and go through them step by step and add additional examples to really make sure students understand the concepts and their answers.
It can be difficult to want to learn a subject you don't enjoy, but sometimes we need to learn it to get the credit! My approach is, therefore, to try my best to make it as engaging and practical as possible and I approach each session with patience and attention to detail.
I believe science can be a difficult subject, but the more you can relate it to things in a person's real world, the more likely they are not only to retain the information, but to be more engaged and increase their desire to learn. I therefore try to throw in connections to the real world, be it within the household, community, city, province, country, or planet.
• More than 10 years’ experience as an Instructor of Mathematics ( until Grade 10 ) and Science ( chemistry , Biology Till grade 12 ) , professional in Ontario curriculum • Organized the course outline , unite plans and lesson plans • Attracted new students to the centres where I was teaching through the high scores I achieved • Built strong relationships with students based on mut
I am very approachable when it comes to teaching. I always tend to repeat the lessons whenever a student gets a hard time understanding it. I give convenient or easier ways to remember concepts. I tend to be very generous with my students.
I will be given lessons via FaceTime or Skype. I will be able to show you solutions to your problems on a white board. I can not only personalize my tutoring methodology to your preference, I can also be available for many School subjects in science.
My teaching methods are lecture, discussion, and demonstration.I enjoy teaching general science/chemistry by simplifying concepts in a way that the students can understand the lesson and change their perception and attitude towards this difficult (as perceived by many) subjects. I also believe in teaching by relating the subject matter to daily life & its practical applications.
One-to-one or class instructions and internet email communications. I can help two groups students: one is that where students are stressed by a particular subjects and would like to find solutions to overcome their stresses; the other group are those who would like to master the subjects because of their interests.
Teach students based on their choice of topics (that they feel needs strengthening) using examples and practical applications to increase the relevance. I can also provide generic courses based on their school or test curriculum, if the students require those.
I will explain everything in deep using whiteboard. Moreover, PowerPoint presentations will be presented to show and understand the molecular models. I prefer to recommend books rather than notes. On every Friday, i will take one short examination based on objective as well as subjective questions.
I believe the core of learning, is not only learning the 'what' of a subject, but also the 'why' behind it. I am willing to take the extra step to bring this vital understanding to everyone I can, in order to make future learning more intuitive and more vastly integrated.
My teaching method is the discussion method. I like to interaction. I want to be able to answer any question you have even if it means you interrupt me. As long as the student understands. My goal is for the student to understand rather than me just talking.
I have a workbook with summaries + exercises. I use power-points for each unit and usually do problems on the board. I also like to integrate videos in the powerpoints. I have found that integrating short films and videos in my lectures to demonstrate three dimensional concepts has worked really well to teach abstract chemistry concepts.
I am willing to approach learning in different ways to accommodate whatever works best for you as a student. I am approachable and willing to work through questions until the material is fully understood. My classes are meant for grade 9 and 10 science students who are struggling with the chemistry portion of their classes.
My lessons tend to be closely based on physics experiments or simulations, and by utilizing videos I allow you to review each lesson at your own pace, and thus give you time to think about useful questions to ask in order to improve content comprehension.
I am offering after-school and/or weekend services or anytime we are both free, for your high school math and/or science! We will go over what you've done in class, prepare for up-coming tests or tackle some assignments and homework together.
In our sessions, typically 2 hours long, I aim to create a casual, comfortable environment where we will work together to tackle the student's main points of animosity towards any particular subject, develop our own study material, do plenty of exercises, prepare for tests, exams and projects, always nourishing a relationship based in mutual respect, responsibility, accountability, commitment and...
As a teenager who understands how hard it can be to grasp concepts of math, I provide my students with detailed and thorough explinations of lessons. This is to ensure that they fully understand the process of math and the steps behind each answer.
I believe that teacher is the best friend of a student. To Create a perfect environment teacher should be friendly and a person can only be a good teacher when he can lower his standar to his student level...
My methods are based on the exercise questions in textbook, I will help students solve this questions. By this way, I will explain the knowledge and skills needed for solving the problems. Customized tutoring and instructional approaches to meet the needs of diverse client populations. Propelled learning mastery and academic success for four students, boosting GPAs and test scores to new bests.
My teaching method is not fix, it depends on the student's level. I think that the hardest part of teaching chemistry is bringing the complex down to a level that students can grasp. The students have to be taught to be patient with the learning process. I try to give them step-by-step instructions and frameworks to help them through these harder thinking skills.
Learning chemistry is like learning a language and requires practice! Rather than lecturing I discuss the material with you and then we dig in to doing examples and problems so that once the exam rolls around you know how to approach the questions. I mainly tutor general chemistry, but am happy to teach specialized chemistry courses as well.
My teaching methods vary by giving students numerous ways to approach questions. A typical class would be going through a lesson while providing examples, doing examples with students and then allowing the students to do work on their own and providing help when needed.
I focus on quality over quantity. So, I make sure that my student understand the subject very precisely, no matter how much time it takes. Moreover, I create many relevant examples for better understanding.
