My teaching will be focusing on students’ needs, accompanying and growing together with my students gaining real life experiences in China.
If you do not have a foundation about Chinese, I will start teaching from pinyin. If you have a foundation about Chinese, I will begin to confirm your pronunciation first. Then, I will use powerpoint and video to teach Chinese. Meanwhile, If you have any requests about Chinese ability or Chinese culture, I can will adjust my teaching content to help you.
My teaching method is to use a project to attract students to love this course, and then each class through a small case to explain knowledge points, and through discussion and practice, so that students really master. Finally, students are asked to complete a satisfactory work by linking the knowledge and skills they have learned through the project.
I base my class in south surrey/ white rock and flexible with online/ face-to-face classes. I approach a subject with flexibility, teaching new words by telling a story or talking movies/ musics, hope to make the classes more active and interesting.

I used to teach both English and Chinese to a Japanese sophomore who was an exchange student in China. I customized the Japanese student’s study plan with appropriate materials and clear learning objectives by using Japanese culture and international students’ life as a trigger to teach her vocabulary.
