My teaching methodology is based on Communicative Language Teaching. It is when English students learn the language from authentic texts instead of grammar drills. Typical activities would include role plays, debates, interviews and scavenger hunts. As a teacher, I try to incorporate the learning needs and the interests of the students into each lesson.
My teaching method is simple to bring out the best in my students is how I teach. Every student is taught differently but the result is always the same to make every student succeed to the best of there ability.
Working with adult students requires a balance of structured lessons and flexibility. Adults expect to work in partnership with the instructor to achieve their goals for studying the material. They come to the table with experiences and knowledge which enriches the learning experience. Lessons are planned based upon needs assessments; what does the student think they need or want to study.
My teaching methods are diverse and collaborative. I don't believe that there is one perfect approach to teaching and I find it is most effective to understand the student's perspective and adjust my methods accordingly. I feel it is best to foster open communication between teacher and student to work as a cohesive unit.
I am structure, yet flexible. I plan my lessons according to student needs, always willing to adjust, expanding or streamlining curriculum based on student feedback, performance, and preference. I try to make lessons as engaging as possible with a combination of standard curriculum and customized materials, chosen and utilized to best suit individual students.
I am a teacher who likes to work with the student at their level. I am qualified to teach many subjects including English, math, science, social studies, and so on. I have my degree in education and also in child and family studies. I am a 21 century teacher meaning I work with different approaches to learning weather it be through media or through paper and pencil.
I love to teach both ways, i mean i can run a teacher centered and a student centered class as well. I believe in lesson planning and strategies for activities being observed in the class room. I am an honest.
My teaching methods are very experiential. I know that most people don't learn well by just listening to another person speak, so I like to incorporate learning activities and experiences into my lessons in order to maximize the student's understanding and comfort in the lesson.
I have an eclectic methodology which fits in all my students needs from all walks of life and levels .All levels are welcome.
I firmly believe that English is made up of 4 components. Reading, writing, speaking and listening. With my lessons, it will tackle each individual components with extreme detail and analysis. My goal is for the students to be able to immerse themselves in an English environment so they can create more social relationships.
I am fun and very effective. I use a lot of digital resources and can make learning easy and interesting! My experience working with different cultures have given me an edge when it comes to working with people from all over the world.
I like to meet with my students first to see if we are a good fit. It is important that I understand how you learn and also what your goals are.
I tutor by first knowing my student's general educational background and learning styles. If parents are involved based on the student's age, I take their help into consideration when assigning homework. My sessions include a brief greeting, work on review, and then learning more concepts. I write a report so the student knows how he or she is doing.
Tutoring and lessons are available online. It is a stress-free environment. Caring, understanding, motivating and helpful. I focus on a Positive Learning environment! The classes are available for all ages and levels. What makes me special as a tutor is that I am very understanding and here to support you along the way 100%.
I teach in a structured way. Once I am able to discover what level a child or adult is at I try to tailor the class to that individual or group. As I mentioned earlier I try to keep the classes interesting and try to add some humor and fun from time to time. I also believe it is necessary for students to do homework so as to retain what we have studied in the classroom.
MY TEACHING METHODS WOULD BE TO BEGIN WITH CONVERSATIONAL LANGUAGE IN ORDER TO MAKE THE STUDENT COMFORTABLE WITH BASIC QUESTIONS & ANSWERS THAT MAY PERTAIN TO A PERSON SEEKING WORK. MORE ADVANCED TEACHING OF ENGLISH WOULD ENSUE AS THE STUDENT PROGRESSED.
my teaching method is tailored to meet my students needs! I tutor mostly degree level students and follow an interactive session to enable me know where you are and how to help you understand better! i respond to your concerns!
I use the communicative method... I am good at assessing a students personal needs and issues, identifying and correcting and setting tangible goals each week. I am relaxed and casual yet can provide structure and targets with a variety of materials and techniques to maximize a student's performance.
My teaching and lesson plans are individualized for each student's proficiency levels or as a group. They are based on a variety of theories and methodologies suiting the needs of my students.
The philosophy I have is that of "What's In It For Me" or WIIFM. Personalizing the expectations so the student has personal reasons to wish to learn of the expectations and be able to internalize the lessons.
I always try to find subjects that make a connection with the students. I change things up frequently and get everyone involved. I try to have variety such as white board time, hand outs, group reading, questions and answers, class discussion and games.
I use communicative approach. When learners are involved in real communication, their natural strategies for language acquisition will be used, and this will allow them to learn to use the language. Example Practising question forms by asking learners to find out personal information about their colleagues is an example of the communicative approach, as it involves meaningful communication.
Through a relaxed and friendly, atmosphere, lessons are taught well planned and organised to suit the students needs. Learning should be fun and text books should be brought to life. Teaching is done using a variety of ways and using a variety of materials.
I work with you the way you comprehend and understand so you always get something from the lessons.
My teaching methods are to take what students know and develop from there. I also feel that it is important to make learning practical and relate all learning to life experiences. This allows for students to make connections between the materials they are learning.
I base my lessons on patience and dedication. I take my time with each student to make sure they fully understand the lesson. I will change the lesson so it is something interesting to make it easier for you to learn.
My goal is to make your experience as a student fun, exciting and rewarding. My teaching methods involve an abundance of visuals and verbals to make topics more relatable and personal to each student. I approach English with flexibility as it is such a malleable topic - I welcome all points of view and opinions.
I believe learning should be fun; especially for children. I prepare lessons ahead of time and delivery with maximum student talk time and minimum teacher talk time.
I believe that every student has their potential to achieve their end. And I would like to prepare my teaching based on different students' learning abilities. Usually, a typical class is comprised of students of different levels. You should definitely take into their levels into account and adjust your syllabus accordingly.
My teaching style depends on the level of knowledge my student has. But I always believe that a fun class is an effective class, so I try to incorporate his/her interests into the lesson and help out gaining confidence in speaking.
