As a teaching méthode I like to start form where you are and just go with it.
I believe in immerse and learn regardless of the student's level. It is important to listen and then speak. You have to read first then write. Grammar rules, and vocabulary building are effectively retained through meaningful learning activities. When it is theme based link to a reality, it is easier for the learner to make tangible connections. I build my lesson around a theme.
I think there is not one single best method for everyone in all contexts, and that no one teaching method is inherently superior to the others. Also, it is not always possible or appropriate to apply the same methodology to all students, who have different objectives, environments and learning needs. I adapt my methodology according to each student.
Teaching with the communicative method is based on learning the language through questions/answers, role plays, dialogues, reading and discussions, conversations, ... Lessons are tailored on building your confidence and fluency. Corrections are provided on the pronunciation, grammar structures and using the right vocabulary.

I'm very easygoing in my manner of teaching. The best way to learn is to have fun whilst learning. To me, that means reading interesting texts, listening to music, watching movies & TV shows.
I will teach the student according to his level and will be patient if the student needs lots of help to learn french.
As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat! I believe that every person learns in a unique way. Therefore, I also believe there is no one way to "properly" teach someone. I like to get to know my students. Establishing a relationship and some level of trust is key. Once I have gotten to know how a person learns best, I devise a custom fit plan just for them.
I adapt my methods to each person. I'm highly skilled at finding the reason why the same mistakes would come back, and I love to find what can be interesting to each person. I am never infantilizing. To me, tutoring is really about help and comprehension.
To be honest, I've no generic teaching method, as I prefere adapting my classes regarding the learner needs. However, I'm a very patient and persevering person, which I think fits with teaching. I consider that because oral expression is fundamental, a typical french class should be teached in French (except for hard points).
I like to focus my classes on the goals and needs of my students and prefer to use teaching aids such as films and music to engage students in not only the language but the culture and pronunciation. I give weekly homework to help to learn outside of classes and like to keep a structured learning regime that is flexible to the needs of my students. Most of all I like to keep language learning fun.
My teaching methods are interactive based on providing relevant examples to connect the student to the new language and stimulate a desire that will facilitate expression in French. I set specific, measurable, attainable and time-bound goals to achieve success in the acquisition of a new language.
Each student is different and each subject is also different. Some students might need more repeating and drilling than others, it will depend on the case. But what ever it is i will understand the level of knowledge and will work according to that.
My teaching methods depend on the personnal level of my student(s). I like to start with basic subjects that can be useful to know in any situation and raise the level of difficulty from there. My goal is for my students to be able to express themselves and understand a conversation.
I review in advance your course goals and materials and send you a survey on what you want to achieve for each lesson and will work with you methodically to achieve these goals. We will measure success together and create a collaborative plan to ensure your progress according to your timeline. My approach is client-centered.
I teach often to students with difficulties so my method are very different. If it didn’t work the way I learned it, you need a new way and I am going to find it. My method is still clear, you are going to learn by discover the thing, no better lessons than a mistake, and I am going to guide you and help you, not show the way and the answer, only help.
I am a very organized person, but even if I have a clear plan for every classes I’m gonna do, I like to get to know my students before even starting to teach them so I know which direction to take. Orherwise, learning has always been a fun thing to do for me.
The starting point in my teaching methodology is to ensure that I meet the needs and expectations of a student. I basically adapt the communicative method to allow students to use the language in real-life situations. In teaching grammatical concepts, the inductive method of reasoning is used. Students learn the language by observing specific incidents of language use.
I base my classes on making sure the lesson is tailored to the student. If the student wishes to focus on a particular area, then I start with that. I also ensure that students have time to practise some exercises with me before the lesson ends.
I like to base my style of teaching off of how the student learns best. I take my time to concentrate on the areas they need assistance with so that they can improve. These classes are aimed more for elementary school students, but can also work with students in grade 9 and 10.
