I believe that students must to be made self sufficient through coaching and encouragement so that they can develop their own cognitive abilities to learn and progress independently in the future. It is my goal to mentor students to achieving their own brand of personal success.
I usually teach everything with an example that can be easily understood, A typical class is remembering what was reviewed in the last lesson, and then building up more a topic. My experience and practice of many concepts on me will be useful to build a strong foundation on the field.
Talking about Teaching procedures, I strongly believe in keeping the class live by asking questions in between to students. I don't like to ask questions which are already given in book, I make sure they have imbibed the concept by offering the conceptional questions which are out of the book (but of same idea).
I maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment with my calm, friendly, and patient nature. I focus on student growth and am comfortable teaching any age, from pre-school to adults. I primarily offer classes in the fields of Math, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
I give importance on both theory and practice aspects of what I’m teaching. First of all, the student must be given the fundamentals of the topic at an extent that is neither too complicated that it’s boring, nor too simple that the student won’t be able to understand the main logic of the topic.
I am an excellent listener and I take assessing students personally. Identifying the student’s current drawbacks and where they need the most improvement is what I focus the most, and to help them excel their capability and performance. I help students understand math and art in an easy way by allowing to visualize and conceptualize key ideas in ways that helped me through my previous courses.
I tend to adopt a Socratic teaching method. Rather than simply presenting answers or solving problems for my students, I prefer to ask questions that stimulate critical thinking, and where possible, have the students arrive at the answer on their own.
my teaching methods are simple and understandable for the student. first of all i always try to estimate the student's ability to understand then i use a method to according the maximum no of students .I thing that a small class is good for mathematics so mostly i make a group of 10 students.
I base my first class on trying to find an individual approach to specifically cater to your learning style. The first class is a way for you to assess my teaching methods as much as it is for me to assess your learning style. I think of it as a trial session for both of us, as such, you would only pay half-price for the first session.
I like to use different techniques to make the student to understand the concept of Mathematics. I use practical example to understand a concept. I also try to understand the root of main problem when a student is confused about a concept of Mathematics and work on a technique that can clear the confusion.
I am a tutor that can understand kids and know their problems and how to fix it. I constantly feed information on new ways to solve a problem. When a student teaches a younger student, he/she will understand them more and will be more open to his or her problems.
My teaching methods are conventional with the addition of modern and improved ways. I prefer to teach individuals over a group, as the students gets the undivided attention at all time. I encourage students to ask questions and together we seek the answers.
My teaching methods are example-based. I attempt to explain concepts using relevant examples to ensure complete understanding and long-term retention.
My teaching method is to help student to have a right mindset for problem solving. Breaking down the problem into easier problems to solve. Focus on the approach and how to find the solution. I would push the student to be slightly outside of their comfort zone for them to grow.
I am PhD Engineering Student and more than 8 years experience in tutoring! Schedules and Locations are quite flexible! Reasonable rates (30-40$ per hour)! Private Sessions OR Group Sessions! I have students from Concordia, McGill, University of Montreal, Dawson, Vanier, Marianopolis, John Abbott and more!
My teaching methods develops according to the student's needs and centers on the student rather than on the content. I work with them flexibly and allow for constant adjustments academically.
My teaching base on kind approach, building a strong confidence in the student. I make mathematics as the easiest subject and absorb him into love mathematics and approach him to solve problems with ease so that he generate a liking to be top at the class.
My classes are focused on the need of each student. I have great ability to find a way to explain the topics in a simpler way and make math less scary, down to earth and most of the times FUN.
I like to have a structured and organized way of teaching. This will make the learning process a lot easier. I myself have always been a top student, so I know what it takes to achieve high results. It is always important to understand why learning something is important, which increases one's motivation to study.
I am new to tutoring but would like to structure the lessons around the current problems the student is experiencing in their class. I have knowledge of both high school mathematics as well as university level calculus. I prefer to use practice problems to go through as it is the best way to learn math.
When I teach, I like to start off by getting to know the student, and fully understanding what it is that they are having trouble with. I myself am a book learner and I am able to learn from examples provided. However, if a student requires more than textbook examples, I am able to create one that engages the student and makes them more interested in the subject they are learning.
I believe that using live examples and applying them are the better ways to understand things effectively than just saying and describing. Besides the fact that my style helps you get it clearly, it will also stay there with you in the long term as scientists proved that the best way to remember something is to make it memorable by making it lively and interesting.
Basically, i relate every topic and statements to live examples.
I'll discuss the current topic being taught, go through and explain my thinking process and do challenging questions together.
I like to base my teachings off of what the student enjoys within the subject so that the material being learnt is received in the most efficient way. I also like to help students recognize what they are learning and how it can be applicable within their everyday lives.
i strongly believe in TRICKS in especially maths subjects that save times from the complex calculations. i always go for head to head teaching instead of group lecture. my teachings are based on understanding the theorems not only solving the particular problem but solving all the related problems by understanding and going deep down to the roots of the questions.
For mathematics , my teaching approach would differ with different students , for student who are slow learners , I give lots of practice of problems and real life analogies for them to understand better. For fast learners I would give guidance on things they have to improve.
I like to get a workbook/textbook with the BC curriculum and go through each unit in one or two lessons. I will do some examples in class to help students better understand the material but I expect students to complete the rest as homework. Following class, I will work on corrections but I usually have them fix it on scrap paper so they can retry it at home and move on to next unit if possible.
I base my classes on the subject and the student. I have found that different people learn things in different ways, so I try to accommodate for learning styles. Different subjects also require different teaching methods. For example, sciences often involve doing an experiment or seeing something in person to fully understand what is going on.
My teaching method is one on one with the student through online. I base my classes with the availability of my tutee but I prefer 6:00 PM onward. Anyone from grade or high school student are welcome to approach me.
