My teaching method is simple yet effective: First of all, I look at your background in the topic and identify the gaps in your knowledge. I then explain the topic to you in order to strengthen your understanding, along with worked examples. Finally, I ask you about the topic in order to check your understanding, and answer any queries which you might have.
For Mathematics, I use problem solving methods with emphasis on practical application of maths in daily life. For teaching and learning of physics and chemistry usually I use experiment and observation methods.
My teaching methodology is based largely on both the Ontario and International Baccalaureate curriculums. I put the needs of my students first, where they direct the topics we spend time on. I work closely with you to determine where you need to spend the most time and then target those areas. Preparing for an exam? I have a lot of experience working with students on exam-preparation.
My students always excel in their exams as I concentrate more on teaching the concept and methodologies rather than just making them to prepare for grades. I strongly believe that not every student is same and each one have their own pace of learning. So, I try to analyze the best way to teach the student and then make them understand the concepts.
When I tutor, I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible by asking lots of questions, as I believe that greatly improves knowledge retention. If a question is answered incorrectly, I will work through the answer starting at a very basic level in order to ensure the underlying concepts of the question are well understood.
I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
I believe in guiding students to help them come to realizations about the subject matter. I encourage independent thought and novel approaches to problems. I use many examples and like to make connections between different subjects. I primarily teach high school courses but can also tutor first-year university courses.
I believe that every student learns in a different way and finding a students strengths is the key to helping them become successful. By teaching them in a variety of ways one can understand if the student is a hands-on student or if they prefer to be an independent learner etc.. I help the student find their learning style and focus on it so that they can achieve the best possible results.
My teaching methods are graphical and innovative with fun games regarding the subject which helps students to learn very fast.I always try to help students understand the basics of a topic which is most important thing regarding any subject because if a student understands the basics or root of a topic its very easy for them to crack difficult problems regarding the topic.
My methods for teaching will differ from student to student, to start a class I usually would like to get an understanding of what the student knows prior to the session, then start from there and base the class from that.
My method comprises of a solid theory followed by many examples. I usually start with simple examples and then build towards much more complicated examples. At the end of the topic, I provide the student with exercises that would cover the full scope of the topic.
My teaching methods are based on bringing up inquisitiveness, creativity and questioning nature from child. No question is small in the learning and No child is ordinary. I respect every child and give the much needed attention patiently and like to extend the helping hand.
My teaching methods entail me leading you to the answer. I will teach you in such a way that you will find the answer yourself so that you will be able to do the set problem without my help in the future.
My teaching methods are oriented towards the improvement of a student's academic performance and vary accordingly. Most of my student requests are for mathematics and the Grades that I prefer to take are from 8th to 12th Grade in general.
I have no fixed approach to any particular subject. In general, I try not to present material in lecture format. I prefer to ask questions in an effort to understand the nature of what is giving a student difficulty and then provide feedback, guidance and suggestions to hopefully allow the student to arrive at their own understanding.
In teaching physics, I prefer to make an accent on a good intuitive understanding of background (like classical mechanics, classical optics, Maxwell' equations) altogether with using of high math in physics. One of the specific subjects: discussion of the unexpected relation of physics with math theory of optimization, neural networks.
In a training setting, when I get questions, I first try to figure out the 'why' of the question. Is the student missing information because the theory was not understood or studied effectively. Is it a matter of skill or experience in the case of solving for instance a mathematical problem. The 'why' answer determines the next steps in the training.
I think the teaching process is a mutual collaboration between the instructor and student(s), in which a dedicated and committed teacher must involve the student(s) in the learning process and encourage/direct the student(s) to become self-learners.
I have a passion of teaching Physics and mathematics. I have been teaching since Grade 10. I have taught in groups in a class room setting as well as individual. I always try to make the concepts of Physics very clear to students and try to create critical thinking in them. While teaching physics , I give examples and applications of these concepts in the real life.
Will not tell you answers but instead lead you through the problem so you can gain a deeper understanding of the subject material. Am very patient and don't mind dumb questions. A typical class will go over the requested material with example problems.
I always teach the student with examples and logic by asking logical and practical questions. I do teach beyond the study in the class by discussing students interest. My teaching methods and My humble attitude, satisfaction on students face after the class feels me good.
My teaching methods are based around facilitating learning. Teaching in the traditional sense from my experience is not effective, and students tend to learn best when they are asked questions rather than told answers. I wish to help the student learn the confidence to be their own tutor.
My teaching methodology is pretty friendly i like to relate the physics problems to the practical life so that its very easy for students to grasp an remember for long time Just like if i want student to teach about gravity i would drop an apple and would tell him how it works
I teach math and physics to high school students but I am also focused on teaching a sound approach to self-studies. I motivate students to put questions to yourself in order to be in control of own education.
My lectures are focused on following, -Relate the topic to real-world problems -Identify the problem? -How can the particular method solve it? -Examples for practice, followed by the concept. My teaching style is to tell students where to look instead of what to look. I prepare lectures based on my audience. Generally. students range is from school level to undergraduate courses.
Experinced teacher of elementary/ advance mathematics at both elementary and advance level. During elementary teaching I also put up practical examples which are actually used in industries and acedemia due to my familiarity with same as a graduate student. I understand that basics at elementary level goes a long way and while teaching teaching that is my first priority.
My teaching methods are very organized and patient. Comfortable any high school and first year Math courses/anything math related. I am extremely flexible with my schedule and am willing to meet last minute or online. Very friendly and approachable! All are welcome.
My teaching is designed towards what the student needs to improve on. I will determine areas of weakness and then show them how to do the questions they are struggling with. I encourage work ethic and perseverance and answer any questions they have about how we got the answer. I would tutor any grade between grade 1 and grade 11.
I make my lessons interesting and enjoyable for my students. I give my students my full attention and my best effort in each lesson. I constantly reevaluate the students progress and adapt my lessons to fit their needs. I am kind and patient with the students that I work with.
I always put myself in the student's shoes to know the right way of delivering the information. When I teach something I like to give more than 3 examples to conquer the bases of solving a specific problem. Classes are meant to elementary and high school students as well as College and University engineering students.
