I make teaching fun but also serious....
I am familiar with the RCM curriculum, and hope to assist beginner to intermediate musicians. I hope to assist on topics many struggle with such as theory, sight reading, and ear training. One on one sessions will address issues you have been facing specifically, as well as group sessions which will focus on general issues which often occur.
my methodology is based on how the student picks up the pace. Teaching differs as per need of the student, those who are quick with their pickup advance easily. Music is not about speed but depth. Perfection is more important than quantity in terms of music and this is what i train students the most on.
I teach all levels of students (beginner, intermediate and advanced) with customized lessons adapted to the goals of each student. I create and share an enjoyable learning environment during my private lessons given into your home in the Montreal area. My method of teaching is simple, fun and progressive.
my teaching methods will bring you through a series of different techniques and approaches to playing the guitar. I will go through a series of finger exercises to improve dexterity, bring you through different levels of musical theory, and of course learn your favourite songs.
Concerning my dance i try to assume everyone is a novice and so starting from the very basics to build them up into strong and formidable dancers, i also emphasize on musicality, originality, creativity, fitness and having a good vocabulary of dance moves to never have a dull moment, For singing and athletics i kinda take the same route but i emphasize more on endurance and fitness, focus,...
My teaching method is to be more calme and relatable. I try to teach using some interesting points where the student won't be bored. I try to make it fun and appealing by inco-operating modern music and styles in my lessons.
I can teach you how I approach guitar. I can also teach you how to practice and create good learning habits. I can provide resources for you to improve to an intermediate level. I specialize in Jazz chords and technique.
My lessons are carefully catered to each student's interests and learning styles. I use a variety of resources and programs, along with book series. Not everyone learns the same way and so I do not teach the same lesson twice. Both hands on approach as well as printed information seem to work well when applied together.
My teaching method is always based on the students desire. I will never ask you to learn something you don't care for, and having fun is the number one priority. If you want to learn simple chords or shred on the guitar, I can do that as well.
I use a variety of singing exercises and techniques, in order to create a healthy and strong vocal sound. My singing technique is useful for learning pop, jazz and musical theatre styles. I teach new vocal techniques, that are useful to someone who is interested in learning to sing in a popular style. I am a very easy-going and encouraging teacher, while keeping you on track of your goals.
I am easy going, very communicative and want to make sure my students get the best experience possible. I don't want to teach them things that will never make them want to sing, or pick up a guitar (or bass guitar). I will tailor my music lessons specifically to my students and what they want to learn to ensure that they are happy, and want to keep advancing.
My process and teaching strategy is to have the student(s) being able to be versatile and open to singing different types of music. The key is to not feel like music is a chore, rather, make it exciting and enjoyable.
Compassion and patience are key. I see no point in students feeling as if what they've done is wrong, and believe that anything can be accomplished with time and effort put into it.
I tailor my lessons depending on the student's need. I like to start the first lesson by getting to know the student and then organize the full lesson plan. I give beginner lessons for children and adults.
I will be using my Guitar pro 5 program to help teach my students how to play their favorite songs just as I did. It shows written music in all 3 different visual ways and highlights the timing to keep you on rhythm. I would start off teaching them open strings, names of fretted notes, basic chords and progressions.
my own teaching tech is easy to understand i begin with the knowledge of the instrument and some basic example of what the student can do with the guitar, and through simple questions to the student to know his level of skill in the guitar and help him to get the confidence to undertake, the conscious and harmonic study developing his manual dexterity and encouraging the reading of musical...
My teaching is base on humanistic, behaviorist, cognitive, cooperative learning. I applied hands on and group discussion while teaching. My concern while teaching targets on every individual as every students learn in a different ways and so it is vital and crucial for me to understand the emotion and learning capacity of every individual learner in my class.
Music is my passion and I enjoy teaching it . From beginner to advance level and to all age group. Music is food for the soul and it help relax you. Class is structured on individual learning ability and level .
I like to start with a fun piano course such as the Alfred's all in one piano method. Then I can add the RC repertoire if the student wishes to learn that method later on. I like to teach children and adults theory and music pieces on piano.
My teaching methods vary depending on the client. Sometimes I will teach a client a full hour guitar lesson, whereas some prefer to do 30 minutes guitar, and 30 minutes of theory.
Well aside from teaching through books i must prefer to teach by sharing my experience and i know it helps a lot for my student

I am here to help you learn more about whatever it is you are passionate about! I love to teach any age group but would highly encourage voice students to wait till around high school. I would recommend starting with piano or theory lessons for anyone younger than 14.
I will base my classes off of where my students interests are. What genres they are interested in and what they want to do. Starting off with the basics, and getting their fingers used to pressing into the strings. Teaching them how to properly stretch their hands allowing full motion. Slowly moving them into basic music theory and scales.
I will approach our lessons by getting to know you and your musical preferences / skills and then figuring out what YOU want to learn. I will not teach you musical theories and complicated subjects off the bat we just want to get you playing.
My focus is to create a truly unique and exciting musical learning environment for students of all ages ranging from beginner to advanced playing levels. Students are encouraged to set personal goals, and with my support to achieve those goals through a progressive personal plan I develop for them, in a safe learning environment that promotes personal growth.
I like to tailor my teaching towards the individual student. I base my lessons on the goals of the student. While the goal is to facilitate learning music theory, I like to teach that through any style. Lesson length depends on the need of the student.
I know from working in the industry that you have to retain your " flavor" if you want to make it in the music business. My focus is to allow the natural personality of your voice to shine through. I work on projection, pitch, tone, and breathing. We start with a warm up of chosen exercises which I will issue to you and then we work on songs that you choose and some that I will suggest.
I love to discuss ideas and workflow. I teach in a sort-of unorthodox way in that there isn't really any structure or laid out plan. I just show the basics and then we create and discuss. these classes are meant for people who would like to learn the program Ableton and would like to pursue music production as a career.
