I believe music should be fun and good for the soul in the way of an outlet. My teaching structure is the same way, I like to find the spark that made my students want to take lessons on the first place.
Physical approach to singing: focus on concrete ideas (sensation and movement), rather than abstract. Provides strong foundation of musical knowledge.
I believe in strong vocal technique no matter what style of singing you'd like to develop. I also work on song interpretation, presentation skills, audition preparation, monologues and what to do when you get nervous.
My teaching objective is to help you learn to play the piano, and to have fun while doing it! There is more to learning to play than just practicing scales (although those are important too!). I love to let my students choose their own songs to play, whether it be pop, rock, classical, country, Broadway, or any other genre they have interests in.
I try to match different methods to what suits students the best. Overall, I prefer to give exercises on weekly basis.
a passion for music will go a long way in learning how to sing, play clarinet, or even just learning to read theory and notes.
Basically, I just try to find out the talent of student such as age, tendency, ability, trend. It’s a custom class. I can catch them as soon as fast. If someone need skills that how to sing, I can make better sound. And if someone wants to follow the trend or independent favorite something, I can suggest to them what they want.
I teach beginner to intermediate guitar lessons starting first with primary chords and some songs , working towards fluent playing and note recognition.
I am a hands on learner and tend to teach with that method, although my goal is to find what works specifically for each student. I love learning and finding new ways to engage students.
I believe in allowing a student to guide their own learning. This means that I am flexible to work with a student to provide them with the most rewarding and engaging education to truly foster a passion and appreciation for music. I believe in strongly encouraging a student to become as devoted to practice and learning as they can be, in the ways that will best suit themselves.
My methods of teaching are inspiring creativity and developing reasonability. My approach is student centered, hands on teaching technique.
My teaching methods are warm and lively ...
I focus on the basics more because that helps in improving voice quality more.
I tailor my teaching methods on an individual basis. I find what students are passionate about and teach along those lines as well as the necessary exercises to develop their skill even further.
My teaching methods are heavy emphasis on vocal skill building exercises and beginning performance skills. I also implement music theory and solfage into my lessons.
I approach my students through the process of understanding the notes and the sound that note makes and then discover
My teaching methods are based in the school of Bel Canto, created with the intention of every breath being capable of producing both beautiful melody and efficient diction. I focus predominantly on the breath and the structure of both the body (with emphasis on the chest, diaphragm and shoulders) and the mouth.
I focus on the intervals between the notes rather than the name of the not I am choosing to hit. Music is about making decisions. Learning the Pentatonic Scale will free you to improvise.
I am a student in high school who has take 13 years of piano. I have received my Sec. 5 diploma and will soon get my Collegial 1 diploma. I'm pretty damn qualified. Just trust me, I'm the absolute greatest.
I always guide the students to think by themselves My class is interesting and fun Always make students to do some programs
I base my lessons off of my student knowledge and what they can and or cannot do.
Let’s start with what you like, and get to know your music style so that I can customize my teaching to you.
My teaching methods are working as a team as well as independently. Music comes from YOUR HEART!!! Enjoy it .
I teach according to the level of students. If there are some students that are low as compared to others in a group, I would prefer private lessons for them for their betterment.
My teaching methods are flexible according to the needs of the student. As long as the student has an open mind and voice they'd love to work with, we are all set to go! I can teach half hour lessons or one hour lessons (or more if required) every week.
My classes are meant for anyone and everyone, but I specialize in teaching children between the ages of 4 and 11. I speak French and English. I offer singing lessons. Let me know your goals and we will work together to achieve them.
Lessons address techniques in breathing, resonance, and body alignment as well as strategies for learning and performing music. Lessons focus on the needs and desires of the student and meet the student where they are technically while being structured.
Each student is different so the first class is about setting goals and making sure we're on the same page about what you want out of our lessons. From there, I will develop a plan that incorporates warm ups, techniques and emotionality/performance skills.
Each person has specific skills and challenges. I discover these and then work with the student to develop confidence and skill in an encouraging environment. We explore breath control, warm ups, technique, physical and emotional awareness to learn to let the sound flow through us in a beautiful way.
