Our first lesson I would get to know the student and understand what level the student is and what is the students goals. After I get an understanding, I will prepare the right study materials for the student. A typical lesson will start with homework check and then a small quiz. Afterwards, anything that the student gets wrong I will correct and review. Then we will start learning new material.

I always believe that learning comes from life. We need build the language environment. I will use the cards with pictures and words to make you easily remember the pronunciations and meanings of the words. After you learn the certain amount of words, the simple sentences are not difficult any more. The different person has different personality.

I am especially interested in learning languages. I grew up in a bilingual family and I have the gift to distinguish the minor difference between different languages. It proves that by noticing the differences help non-native speakers pronounce much better! The most funny thing I found is that, Cantonese has nine different tones while Mandarin has five.

My teaching method is interactive and divergent.
