I teach my students by asking them their weak and strong points, I interview them and chat to them as if they were a friend who needs help. Before teaching the content, I’d ask them to do a few questions and exercises (exam questions, recall, etc.) to jog their memory and to get a clearer picture of what they need help on. I want to ensure that their tutoring session is theirs.
I would then help them with the content and delve into how they can structure their exam questions, express mistakes I’ve made in the past and how to avoid them and after I would provide them a personal OneDrive/Google Drive of resources made for them.
If they wanted to, they could email me for more help if they were to be very stuck on a topic, question, etc.
Lessons will take place over webcam due to COVID. If students wish, and if conditions are safe, I will be able to do Face-to-Face lessons at the library in town or my house.
I’m an A-level student studying Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I’ve have 9s from triple sciences GCSE. I’ve been a volunteer tutor in my old High school for a while, and would like to reach out to other students who need help in their sciences!
Depending on the resources used, I may decrease the price of my sessions. I will also decrease the prices of my lessons if there is no student satisfaction or if there has been a mishap with connection, getting resources, etc.
My name is Lene and I am an A-level student currently studying Chemistry, Biology and Physics. I enjoy sciences very much and I love to teach and help other children all sciences. In the past, I have been a volunteer tutor in my High school and would like to reach out to other students who need help in GCSE sciences.
Before getting into the content, I often ask my students their weak points and do practice exercises with them so that future lessons are personalized to their needs and their way of learning.
Lessons would often involve recall activities, practice exercises/exam questions, structuring answers/exam technique and going over harder content.
No two students are the same, therefore no two lessons for a student is ever the same!
