Master's graduate teaching effective essay writing to high school students in Toronto

Methodology

I am a very flexible instructor, and am able teach high school students according to their needs, whether it be essay editing, grammar lessons, tips on creating a References list, and much more. I am very comfortable working with teens.

Background

I am an outdoor educator, having worked with kids for the past 11 years. Academically, I completed my Master's degree at the University of Toronto in December 2018. I also volunteer writing grants with a non-profit organization during spare time.

• Assessment of extent, patterns, and human facilitation of invasive plant species within a forest on a summer camp property through statistical and spatial-visual analyses
• Used findings to develop a cohesive, ambitious and achievable invasive species management and native species’ restoration plan for property stewards that functions within the scope of current recreational land use on the property

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

January 2019 Innovation Program Infrastructure Award (Grant), Ontario Camps’ Association
• Developed a strategic plan to establish an accessible trail network through the forested property of Camp Scugog, Nestleton ON
• Using constraints of ecological stewardship, ensured sensitive areas would remain protected and detailed innovative ways in which degradation could be best prevented
• Application consisted of a written package and a presentation

• Species inventory of vegetation within plots of 400 sq. m on forest property
