My teaching methods are student-oriented and focus on ensuring my students have the ability to build strong foundations in order to become self-sufficient learners. I teach primarily within the age group of 6 to 13 years old. A typical class will begin with practice questions from the previous lesson, to test the student's ability to retain the information that was taught to them previously. Homework will be given in order to ensure their ability to retain and build on their past knowledge.
I am currently enrolled in an engineering bachelor's degree program at the University of Calgary and have strong math skills to offer to prospective students. I have been a volunteer tutor in mathematics for children between the ages of 4 to 14 for the past 3 years with the Calgary Public Library.
