Lessons will be tailored to each student's learning style and MCAT study schedule. In general, lessons would include overviews of studying and test-taking techniques and running through practice questions together. As a tutor, I will not be able to comprehensively teach all of the MCAT material, but I can teach specific concepts that students may have difficulty with and go through practice questions to identify weaknesses. I genuinely wish for my students to do well and will do my best to help them achieve a higher score.
I recently completed my BSc and will be starting medical school in September 2019. I took the MCAT twice, the first time scoring in the 93rd percentile overall (132/125/128/130), and the second time in the 99th percentile (132/129/130/131). I have previous tutoring experience and held a strong mentorship role in my co-op positions. As an incoming medical student I also have a good understanding of the Ontario medical school application process.
If lessons are far away may add travel costs on a case by case basis.
