About the lesson

We will begin with the basics as an introduction.
It's imperative to see where you're at with your journey.

Informal conversation practice-
The easiest way to practice languages. Informal practice is key to learning how to communicate on a casual and immersive level.

Pronunciation-
Mastering pronunciation is far more important than many people are aware. We will not overlook it. Good pronunciation helps learners better understand their target language. Especially when learning new and more complex vocabulary words.

Courses on culture or specialized subjects-
Many language learners begin studying a language because they’re interested in a specific culture. Often times these communities and cultures have specialized vocabulary or etiquette that learners will need to understand.
**For many languages, there are cultural components important for new learners to understand** We don't want anyone inadvertently offending anyone on their journeys through the world. These courses will also focus on information that will help learners feel more immersed and confident while traveling.

Writing practice-
Written language is not usually part of an oral tutoring session, however I will offer lessons that will help learners master writing in your target language. Writing prompts regardless of how short will help build your skills in both reading and pronunciation.

Test preparation-
Many required exams for teaching/studying abroad have both speaking and listening components.
If you are familiar with the standardized tests in your language, then you know how beneficial it will be to have a tutor to help prepare you for your exam.
