About Brandon

I have been teaching High School in Toronto's downtown for 5 years at a school that focuses on the individual needs of each student. I take pride in designing curriculum to meet students where they are at, and making learning exciting. I graduated from Brock University with Honours, and completed my teacher Training at University of Toronto's OISE.

My teaching philosophy hinges on the individual student's needs. Every youth has their own unique way of learning. It's not about how smart they are, but how they are smart. With that in mind I focus on skill building, and teaching ways of thinking and questioning. From there I scaffold knowledge and understanding, building on previous lessons.
