I'm a postgraduate student, looking to give lessons to those studying bioscience subjects (including biology, microbiology, physiology, genetics, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy, etc). My teaching is adaptable to my student's current level of education, ranging from primary to degree-level, and will be tailored to the student's learning style and preferences.
Although I'm just now branching out into online tutoring, I've mentored a number of students over three years at university. Most of these students are now in their third year of university, preparing to sit their final exams. I also have experience in tutoring younger students (aged 12-15 years), as a mentor in a high school.
11 GCSEs (grades A-A*) including biology, chemistry, maths, and physics.
A-levels in biology, geography, and product design.
AS-level in chemistry.
BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology, awarded by Newcastle University
Currently studying towards an MRes in Toxicology, also at Newcastle University, in the Institute for Cellular Medicine.
I have a large amount of both theory-based and practical understanding of biosciences as a whole, and to date have completed more than 6 months of laboratory research, as well as multiple taught laboratory sessions.
My research projects have covered a range of topics, including gene expression, microbiology, chemical warfare agents, novel psychoactive substances, dermatology, and emergency first aid.
