A community college lecturer for 10+ years, and certified online educator for the past 4 years. I teach a combination of liberal arts subjects, including Library and Information Studies, Information Literacy, Research Skills, Linguistics, ESL and Communication Studies.
My classes are student-centred, engaging and empowering. I believe in using various educational technology tools to aid in understanding and grasp of course content. I consider myself to work in partnership with students (the guide on the side) in their education process.
I have been a teacher/lecturer for more than 15 years, providing instruction at both the secondary and tertiary levels. Over the last 8 years, I have witnessed and celebrated the graduation of many students whom I would have taught in the B.S. and AAS Information and Library Studies programmes. Currently, as an online IL and ESL instructor, my students are provided with the best foundations to pursue their academic and professional goals.
