-A little bit about myself:
I am currently studying in University of Oxford on the graduate program "Nanotechnology for Medicine and Health Care". I have a bachelors degree in Physics from Lund University (Sweden). In my final year of bachelor studies, I have specialised in solid state physics and nanoscience.
Throughout my bachelor studies, I have done two internships in Danish Technical University and been on a one year exchange in National University of Singapore.
-Lessons for high school pupils who are having issues with mathematics or physics
-The lesson starts with you proposing any topics that you do not understand. You are free to give me your homework or tests so we can solve them together. After the class, I will send you some extra problems on your worst topics so you can see how well you understood the material.
-When it comes to physics, I strongly believe that it is all about understanding the concepts rather than learning formulas and laws by heart. Thus, we will look at some real world examples where the physical laws/equations can be applied so you grasp the concept of the law and see how it is applied.
-When it comes to mathematics, I believe that it is all about practice. Therefore I will teach you various techniques on solving the problems and then you can practice these techniques by solving many exercises. I will prepare these exercises for you and you can send me your solutions after the class for me to look through.
-I have tutored a high school student who was studying an International Baccalaureate mathematics for about 3 months. I was preparing her for the mock exams. She ended up getting 1 point high grade than her teacher expected (she received a 5/7 while her teacher predicted her a 4/7). After the winter break, I have moved from Copenhagen to Lund so I had to stop tutoring her.
-Obtained a BSc in Physics from Lund University (GPA of 3.64/4.0)
-Currently studying MSc in Nanotechnology for Medicine and Health Care in University of Oxford
