About Liam

With 8 years of teaching experience, my journey with the French language began through early exposure to literature, music, and cultural exchange. Over time, this interest evolved into a passion for sharing the language with others. Teaching French has allowed me to connect with learners from different backgrounds and witness the joy that fluency brings to their lives, whether for travel, career, education, or personal enrichment. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive, with a strong focus on communication and confidence building. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s personality, learning style, and goals—whether they prefer structured lessons, conversational practice, or cultural immersion. I believe every student can become a confident French speaker with the right guidance, motivation, and encouragement. Outside the classroom, I stay connected to the French-speaking world through media, literature, travel, and cultural activities. I continuously refine my teaching approaches to keep lessons fresh, relevant, and enjoyable. Teaching French is more than a job for me—it is a meaningful way to inspire curiosity, broaden perspectives, and open doors to new cultural experiences for my students.

About the lesson

My French lessons combine language learning with meaningful cultural immersion to help students develop both fluency and a genuine connection to the language. I create a warm and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. Lessons include pronunciation, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, writing, cultural insights, and real-life application to make learning dynamic and enjoyable.

I teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Beginners build foundational vocabulary, correct pronunciation, essential grammar, and simple conversational skills. Intermediate learners expand fluency, learn idiomatic expressions, improve comprehension, and engage in structured conversations on everyday topics. Advanced students focus on nuanced expression, professional or academic communication, complex grammar structures, literature, and cultural context. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals and learning styles, ensuring maximum progress and confidence.

Students complete lessons with the ability to express themselves more clearly and naturally in French. More than mastering grammar and vocabulary, I aim to help students develop cultural curiosity, real-world communication ability, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the French language. Learning French becomes a personal and rewarding journey, not just a subject of study.
