I approach the subject with flexibility. Usually students have studied the topic before before and they come for a help to understand the topic better. As a result, providing lots of examples and going over the assignments can help them better based on my experience. In addition, checking their codes or helping them step by step as a mentor to write the codes is better for the projects than teaching coding from the scratch.
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Ryerson University. My background is Economics and I have a master degree in Analytical methods and Econometrics (Pure Economics). I am familiar with softwares such as Stata, Eviews and Microfit and I use Python, R or Matlab for programming.
