My teaching style is to develop core concepts as best possible in order to form a foundation of chemical literally. Revisiting basic principles multiple times throughout a course, to see the overall larger vision of chemistry as a whole, allows students to more rapidly integrate new topics and avoid repeated learning curves.
I am a computational chemist (PhD NCSU, 2015), with a focus on inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and nanotechnology. I have been a prior tutor to college level and primary school students.
