« I receive tutoring from Parisa during grade 11 and 12 for physics, and she has helped me improve my grades from low 70s and now I'm getting low-mid 90s. More importantly, she helped me understand the concepts taught in great detail. I would send her an email on what I like to cover, and she would always prepare the material accordingly. We usually first review the material and afterwards, she would give me many challenging questions to practice with. If I had any questions or needed an urgent session, she will always make time for it, whether in person or online. Parisa is also kind, understanding, give insightful advice, and always pushes me to improve. She inspired me to enjoy physics and the sciences. I would highly recommend Parisa because she will help you get the results you want, push you to do your best, and inspire you to enjoy what you learn! »

PhD Engineering Student offers Math and Physics Classes for high school and university students

Methodology

As a dedicated and self-motivated graduate student, I am currently on track to earn my doctorate degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Toronto. I am well prepared to use my subject expertise as well as my time management, strong leadership, and interpersonal skills to make a positive and immediate impact on your students and classroom.

Background

I am a PhD candidate in Biomedical and Biomaterials Engineering at University of Toronto. I got my B.A.Sc. and M.A.Sc. in major of Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto as well. Aside from research experiences, I have tutoring and mentoring experience in math and physics for high school students as well as university students. I have always strived not only to be an active student in university, but also in the other communities at large. I greatly enjoy problem solving and coming up with creative solutions from a logical perspective.
