I don't like monologues while teaching and I try to involve students in a dialogue. Example- I taught evolutionary biology through game theory concepts by playing games in class. My goal while I am teaching to make students understand concepts in a better and practical away rather than just reading. I try to design curriculum and assignments in away that students can enjoy and learn so that they remember it for long time and they apply this teaching in everyday life.
I have a PhD in Plant Sciences from McGill University. My research focus was molecular biology, bioinformatics, tissue culture and genome editing (CRISPR Cas9). I have been a teaching assistant for 6 years, teaching several courses in biology & chemistry. I have taught courses like genetics, evolutionary biology, horticulture, botany etc.
If the travel is beyond 10 kilometres I would charge additional fees.
