My teaching methods are tailored towards the individual student. I start by getting to know the student's strengths and weaknesses, their current level of understanding about the subject in question, and the methods through which they appear to learn best.
Then, I devise a systematic approach to their lessons which utilizes their skills and builds upon their current knowledge to further their understanding about the subject. I take care to ensure that my lessons target areas of weakness and focus on building a good foundation.
My philosophy surrounding learning is that nothing is too difficult to learn. There's no such thing as a "math" person, or a "physics" person to me. Everyone can learn math and physics, all it takes is perseverance and the motivation to learn.
I first started tutoring in middle school by helping my neighbour's younger children with homework. I realized I really enjoyed teaching and helping other students, and so, I continued to help my peers and friends with math and physics courses throughout my high-school career.
Outside of assisting my friends with school, my teaching experience entails:
- teaching a foreign language for a summer
- working as a classroom helper in a Grade 7 classroom
- teaching astrophysics and astronomy to students of all ages as a Senior Assistant at the Allan I Carswell Observatory
- teaching astrophysics and astronomy to students at a North York Private school as an extension of my work at the Observatory
- Fourth-Year Physics Student at York University
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Senior Assistant @ The Allan I. Carswell Observatory
Amazing!! Pal is the only reason why I passed my classes this semester! 10/10
I hired Palvisha to help my 16 year with physics last year. She has been helping him ever since and he is doing much better! She is extremely patient and thorough in her teaching! I have recommended her to all of my friends whose kids are also struggling with physics.
Palvisha is a patient and benevolent tutor. She truly enjoys and loves what she does. I can say that I learned something from my interactions with her. You would be wrong not to use her as your tutor.

Learning isn't a problem, physics lessons for all!
Taking trigonometry lessons has never been easier: you're going to learn new skills.
