My focus is on helping a tutee: 1. develop skills for problem solving, 2. build mental models that help them deeply understand the material, and 3. grow their confidence.
My lessons are discussion-based, with a heavy focus on practice problems. I tailor the content of my lessons to the student’s specific interests, using examples that relate to their hobbies and highlighting applications of the material.
I am a Fourth-Year BSc Honours Physics student at McGill driven by curiosity and a passion for learning. Having started my education in McGill’s Neuroscience program, I am well-equipped to teach Life Sciences as well as Physics, Chemistry and Math. I also have a strong background in writing and am happy to help students with lab reports or applications.
I have privately tutored peers throughout university.
My passion is scientific research, in which I have 4 summers of experience.
I will be attending Cambridge University next year for my Masters in Theoretical Physics.
