My teaching methods include a multi-faceted approach focusing on visual and verbal learning, using diagrams and demonstrations to allow students to reach the best understanding they can. I use real life examples and 'fun facts!' to keep students engaged and interested in their subject.
For 7 years I have advanced my ability to tutor many high school level subjects including sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and general Science), Mathematics, English, History, Philosophy, and French.
I have learnt how to adapt lessons and questions for all different learners and students, ensuring the best possible outcome and understanding.
I have a degree in Neuroscience and Bioethics from the University of Toronto, and have been tutoring professionally for over 7 years. I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds across a variety of subjects who have gone on to excel in their university and college programs. I have a huge passion for teaching and love helping students discover and reach their potentials.

Mikaela is an amazing person I have to say first off. I have known her for 5 years. What I love most is her adaptability in changing her teaching styles to make sure it is the best for her student. A very trustworthy, approachable, and compationate person. She would make an amazing tutor and teacher as she knows her information and pays attention to her students.
