About Lyla
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how software applications are developed and how they solve real-world problems. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s in Software Engineering, where I developed strong knowledge in coding and system design. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students from different backgrounds and helped them build confidence in programming. Teaching has become an important and rewarding part of my professional journey.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and focused on clarity. I break down complex topics into smaller steps so students can understand easily. I use practical examples and guided exercises to make learning effective and engaging. I also encourage students to ask questions and practice regularly so they can improve steadily over time.
Beyond teaching, I continue exploring new programming tools and technologies to stay updated with industry trends. This helps me bring modern knowledge into my lessons. I believe programming is not just about writing code but about developing logical thinking and problem-solving ability. My goal is to help students become confident programmers who can build projects, solve real problems, and succeed in their academic and professional journey with strong skills and long-term confidence.

My programming lessons are designed to make coding simple, structured, and easy to understand for every student. I begin with basic concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, and simple programs, explaining each topic in very simple and clear English. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind programming instead of memorizing syntax. I use practical examples and small coding problems so students can clearly understand how programs work step by step. I also create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, arrays, object oriented programming, and data structures. I guide students step by step through writing, testing, and improving their code. Debugging is treated as an important skill, and I teach students how to identify errors, understand their causes, and fix them effectively. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to strengthen coding ability and logical thinking. Each lesson is structured to ensure steady progress and strong understanding over time.
Programming becomes more effective when students learn how to think logically and solve problems independently. I focus on helping learners develop strong problem solving skills so they can approach coding challenges with confidence. Over time, students become more comfortable writing their own programs and building small projects. My goal is to help students build strong programming foundations, improve technical skills, and apply their knowledge in real world situations while developing independence, confidence, and long term success in coding.
