I prefer to do one on one sessions, create an almost friendly level of connection, use art tools and activities to help cope with trauma, reflect, get to know oneself and figure out a life goal. Examples: write a poem, journal, act out a scene, paint, dance, make music, etc. using the pain as motivation and the chosen form of art as healing the wounds.
