Methodology
I strongly believe that mathematical thinking is logical & creative in nature; the process of learning should be through applied practice and not through memorization. I base my class content on the student's academic curriculum and subject interests. A typical class is customized and prepared for each student, incorporating fundamental concepts, applied practice, and discussions around real-world applications.
Background
I am a strategy consultant and work with fortune 500 clients on challenges including product development, service design, scenario planning, and user experience design. In high school, math-related subjects were my favourite classes to take because my teachers made the topics interesting and relevant to real-world contexts. My hope is to make math concepts accessible and interesting to you by showing you the potential of these ideas in practical situations.
