About the lesson
Helping people recognize strategies to solving problems is more efficient than being able to solve a problem through memorization; therefore, my teaching methodology is to work through a question by first asking students where they would start in a question. This gives me an idea of what they know and where they are struggling to understand. From there, I would point out key factors they may not have considered so that they know what to look for in similar questions.

I am a Mathematics major going into 3rd year at Simon Fraser University. I have been tutoring High School Students since I was in Grade 9. I primarily tutored Grade 9 math while I was in High School, but now that I am in University, I have a fundamental understanding of Pre-Calculus and Calculus as well.
