I believe in a personalized teaching methodology. Every individual has different needs and inclinations. Setting proper biomechanical patterns to remain healthy inside and outside the gym is my philosophy. Weightlifting and strength training is a fun way to reinforce your body and feel great!
I have studied Olympic Weightlifting for the past 7 years with Coach Ma from Ma Strength. I practice the Chinese fundamentals of weightlifting where technique is of utmost importance. I will teach you healthy biomechanical patterns and mobility before weightlifting techniques to ensure you will be healthy and injury-free. I have coaching experience at the University of Waterloo, with a BASc in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics.
In-person preferred, once lockdown lifts. The initial session will be about goal setting and getting to know each other, with a brief training session.
