I am currently a high school student who has completed first year university mathematics in addition to placing well in math contests. Being a high school student myself, I can relate to students while helping them understand concepts. At the same time, I can enrich their experience to ensure they are well prepared in school.
I have given lessons to classmates casually and it has helped them improve immensely. I have helped classmates improve their marks substantially from just a few casual lessons. I enjoy teaching others math as I am genuinely interested in this subject.
Would meet in a public area such as a library that is relatively near both the student and I. Rates are slightly flexible depending on student's level and travel time.
I currently just finished grade 11 and I participate in many different math contests. For example, recently I qualified for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (top 5% of international participants of the AMC 12). In addition, I have learned further as far as university calculus, having a strong grasp of the subject. In school, I currently have a 100% in my mathematics course.
