About the lesson
I prefer my students to read or enact the text and discuss further on their understanding of the meaning of the given text, there are visual and audio aids available to have a deeper impact of the story as well. Debating is the best way to learn in literature as there is no right or wrong answer just exchange of ideas and thoughts which enhances the cognitive abilities of the students and gives them the opportunity to come up with a suitable rational answer.

I am a psychology student and reading books is my hobby, literature has the power to ignite your thought and instil critical-thinking along with increasing your creative imagination. I as an observer and a rationalist have noticed that the content of literature and the way it is taught in school/colleges is very ancient, a teacher reading the text and explaining the preferred meaning to students, is not how one learns literature. Teachers need allow the students to have discourses and think for themselves, teaching is a two-way street, the teacher and the student must exchange ideas and thoughts to unlearn and relearn.
