I put a lot of emphasis on speaking as well as exercises, as I believe these are the best ways to really cement a language in your daily life and feel confident while using it. Practice and repetition!
In my own experiences in learning new languages or trying to perfect one I already knew, I have found out a lot of methods that worked better than others to really implement new aspects of a language in a learner. One of the most important aspects to learn is confidence, and with a solid foundation, confidence only comes naturally. In addition, I have had a number of jobs that required me to work with people who did not speak French, and I am comfortable with teaching people who are at any level of their French learning, may they be total beginners or French speakers who want to perfect a specific field.
I am a translator with a degree in translation, with a specialization for linguistics, economy and audiovisual. I have done french tutoring in the past and have many years of management and human resources under my belt. I am currently working as a translator, but I wish to offer my skills as a tutor as well, as I have already done this job in the past and had a wonderful experience. Since my earliest days in school, languages have always been my biggest passion, and I have learned both with the help of school and tutors in various languages (Spanish, German, Japanese). I am completely certain that with all these experiences, I am well suited to assist students or adults who are looking forward to perfecting their French.

During my jobs in the boarding school (Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie) as well as the grocery store (IGA Marchés Louise Ménard Île-des-Sœurs) I was given the chance to work to train and manage students. While I was in Cegep, I also did a lot of French tutoring, both for students who wanted to practice their French or make it stronger or for students who were still in the process of learning the language. I have also worked often with people who were speaking a different language than French and had to assist them in their communications.
