About Irene

As an 19-year-old tutor who has lived in Spain my entire life, I bring a unique blend of youth, experience, and passion to my teaching. I have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a score of 41/45, including a perfect 7/7 in Higher Level Spanish, so I understand what it takes to succeed academically, believe me. To any students facing the pressure and stress of exams, I, too, have been through that not so long ago and made it out alive.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is completely dependent on the person I am tutoring, as I strive to cater to the needs of my students. My age allows me to connect easily with students, creating a relationship of trust where you can feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and stress-free, fostering an environment where you feel comfortable reaching out to me any time for guidance or support.

My lessons are typically an hour long, as this provides the perfect balance of focus and productivity. However, I’m flexible—if longer lessons are needed, I’m happy to make it work and ensure that every extra minute is used effectively. I’ve had experience tutoring students aged 10 to 17 across a variety of subjects in the last 3 years, and I’ve learned valuable teaching techniques from my mother, a professional Spanish teacher. Whether you’re a beginner or seeking advanced help, I’m confident in my ability to tailor lessons to your specific needs, no matter your age or skill level.
