My teaching methods vary as I believe each person is unique in their way of learning. However, a main method I do use is to first go over everything in detail. To enforce the lessons, I use diagrams with numbered steps as experience has found visual learning is most effective in Biology. To wrap things up, I like to give questions in the end in order to assess how well the lessons has been absorbed. If there are things missing, no problem! I go over them again until the gaps in learning are filled.
I'm a second year student at University of Ottawa in the Honours Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences. I graduated high school Biology with an A+ and with an overall average of A+ too.
I enjoy teaching all aspects of Biology and have been informally doing so informally since grade 8. I've taught individuals with learning disabilities as well as my peers.
