I create a fun and rewarding learning environment for my students. My lesson structure and content will be flexible to cater to the students’ needs. I like to use videos, PowerPoints and hands-on approaches to explain biological concepts.
Then, I give students practice questions to demonstrate their understanding. I encourage students to answer their own questions and think critically. Through conversations, I also like to stimulate and affirm the students’ passions and interests in biology.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC San Diego. I have tutoring and teaching experience as an undergraduate Biology TA for a class of 200 students. I have extensive academic knowledge as well as biology research experience. I am currently completing a Master’s thesis in Ecology.
