I am entering my fourth year at the University of Waterloo studying honors biomedical science and joint honors music (for violin performance). I have taken a multitude of courses in biology, including but not limited to anatomy, embryology, physiology, microbiology, and cell biology. I am offering to tutor primary, middle, and high school students via Skype in several areas of biology to help them better understand important concepts.
I have been teaching violin to a handful of students for several years, but never have I officially tutored biology. I feel that many concepts from teaching violin can be applied to teaching other subjects such as biology. Both subjects require patience, and an ability to effectively communicate ideas.
I am currently working towards achieving a bachelor's degree in science with joint honors music.
