About the lesson
My teaching methods include going through the lesson contents together, working through a few examples together, then assigning practice questions (depending on time, we work through a few together as well). I am also open to helping study for an exam or explaining homework problems :) I generally try to figure out what learning style best suits the student during the first lesson and adapt my lessons based on this. If you have any other questions or concerns, I'd be happy to address them!

I am a Senior at University of Toronto Schools entering CS & Business at Waterloo next September. I'm passionate about math, both in school and competitively. Some courses I have taken include Advanced Functions, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. Additionally, some math contests I've done are AMC 12, AIME, Euclid, ARML, etc. I'm excited to meet you and find what suits your learning style :)

Jing Yi was a tutor introduced through my parents. I highly recommend her since my learning style for math is based on visuals. She quickly caught on and adapted her lesson plan based on my needs. When I had a test in Advanced Functions, she was able to help me summarize the material and explain what I had trouble with. I ended up doing extremely well and definitely recommend Jing Yi to anyone looking for a math tutor. You won't regret it!
