I like to put myself in my students' shoes and break down concepts into small chunks easy to interpret.
One principle I love to emphasize is all big problems are just an accumulation of small ones. Take it step by step and everything can become simple.
Classes can take place physically or digitally. Digital classes will involve a digital whiteboard (which I will provide) and students can easily attempt to solve the problems I'll give on it. This also gives a lot more flexibility to the students. The most important thing is having the student engaged and enjoying themselves. I like to keep things entertaining!
I've also been certified as a Mathnasium Instructor and have also adopted their unique teaching methodology to my classes. Can teach middle school to university level math and computer science topics.
I am a fourth-year Mathematics and Computer Science student at University of Toronto. I've had experience working as a developer for web applications, developing IT solutions for the BioZone Lab at UofT and am currently interning (as per my program) for CIBC as a Business Systems Analyst.
More than anything, I have a genuine passion for teaching and have had experience teaching introduction to programming and mathematical principles!

Excellent! good at explaining and teaching new concepts
Perfect! Zafir helped me out of a really tough spot with my online course on neural networks. He had timely responses, and we quickly built a schedule to finish the course quickly. Not only did I end up understanding more than I ever could have alone but each of the assignments he helped me with got a 97% or higher on them! Without his help, I probably would have failed this course. I strongly recommend Zafir as a tutor for python and Jupiter notebooks. Couldn't have found a nicer and smarter person for the job. Thank you!
