I have advanced knowledge of the essay writing process and I am passionate about studying literature. I enjoy writing essays about literature and enjoy helping my students write their essays as well. I have a deep understanding of and passion for spelling, grammar, and structure. I am very happy to help with any and all stages of studying literature: we can discuss the texts, close read important passages, or tackle any step in the essay writing process, including planning, structure, writing, editing, and proofreading. I love the reading and writing process and can't wait to get started!
I am currently pursuing a Canada Graduate Scholarship funded Master's degree in English at the University of Toronto. I also have a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Toronto with minors in Writing & Rhetoric and Literature & Critical Theory. I have training in all major periods and genres of English literature, across British, Canadian, American, and African writings in English. As well, I have sufficient knowledge of the history of the English language, linguistics, and publishing. I did IB HL Literature in high school and am very well suited to help with assignments or test prep for that class.
