I will work closely with you to understand what type of class and movement will be best suited to your needs. Classes might include Asana (poses), Pranayama (breath-work) and/or meditation.
My teaching style is fluid, gentle, empowering and supportive. We'll go at a pace that is right for you to practice safely, learn, and have fun!
I enjoy and encourage the use of props, as they can provide some welcomed support in our practice. If you don't have any yoga props, that's ok - we'll find alternatives that are surely available in your household!
I have been practicing for over 10 years and have been teaching for a year.
I obtained my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate from YogaSpace in Toronto, Canada.
Since then, I have worked with beginners to help them establish a safe and effective practice that made sense for them. I have also worked with intermediate students who wished to expand their practice from a physical and/or philosophical perspective.
I specialize in Vinyasa & Hatha yoga, as well as breath work and meditation. I am also CPR/First Aid certified.
